The County sailing section are pleased to confirm they have several dates available for Sailing Taster Sessions at Welton Waters Sailing Club for 2018.
All sections are encouraged to show their interest in booking a day with the team. The session will be tailored to the section who books the day.
The day offers a taster sailing experience for the group who book. There is normally a maximum number of 10 young people per session but we are happy to talk to you about your requirements.
- Older sections will be given the opportunity to sail themselves after some basic tuition in one of our smaller “Mirror” class dinghies.
- Younger members can learn to crew a sailing dinghy with an experienced, and Scout authorised instructor, at the helm. The days run from 10:00am to 4.00pm.
All bookings are subject to the weather conditions on the day. All dates will be offered on a first come first served basis.
