As you may be aware, we have been searching for a replacement District Commissioner / Lead Volunteer for your District for some time now, but unfortunately we have not, to date found a suitable replacement. That said though, discussions are continuing to take place which may change this situation in the near future.
Linda has successfully led the District for over 10.5 years now and in that time I am sure you will agree with me, has done a fantastic job. I don’t doubt that she has been supported by a great team of people in the District and beyond which have helped make Blacktoft Beacon the success that it is today.
The time has finally come for Linda to hand over the reins though and for this interim period, the day to day operation of District will be overseen by Alan Hayward and myself. Along with the ongoing support of both Linda and Rachael, we will be managing the day to day operations and are here to help if there is anything that you need to help you with your Scouting. This will include NAN forms, Safeguarding, Mandatory Training and other such tasks. You will find our contact details below.

District Events and Activities
Linda will continue to oversee the planning of events into and during next year to ensure a seamless transfer in due course. Linda, along with the existing team, will communicate information about these directly.
