Normally at our annual Celebration we would present St George’s Day awards to our fantastic Leaders, in front of all the young people and adults that they support.
As we cannot be together face-to-face this year, we are going to celebrate our award holders in a slightly different way.
Generally Leaders do not know that they have been nominated for these awards and it is lovely to see the surprise on their faces as they walk down from the grandstand at Beverley Racecourse.
We still want to suprise them so…. on Sunday 26th April, when we should have been together, we will be sharing a video on our social media platforms celebrating those who have received an award this year. We will also be sending out a special newsletter highlighting these Leaders and their awards too.
Once we can resume face-to-face Scouting we will then be visiting these Leaders at their Section’s to present them with their certificates, badges and medals.
