As we prepare to move to the new membership system, we are working through compass to ensure all the information is correct. As part of this we have noticed over 70 roles within the district are missing the role variant, this this the bit after the “-“ in your role title like ‘Section Leader – Beaver Scouts’ or ‘Assistant Section Leader – Cub Scouts’.
HQ and some counties and districts use the role variant to send emails about section support, information and news. HQ also use the role variants to build the monthly membership emails, so making sure these are correct will mean all the information you receive is relevant.
Over the coming weeks we are working with HQ to amend these, so you may start to see these appear on your existing roles soon. If you hold more than one role and it’s not listed on Compass, please speak to your GSL or line manager to get all your roles added so you are kept up to date and don’t miss out on any communications.
