Service Awards
As you know the service awards are produced automatically by HQ and Alan receive a bundle once a quarter. If Alan sees a member of the Group at any meetings he’ll pass them on for the GSLs to present, otherwise they’ll be posted. We aim to get these to the Group with minimal delay so that you can present to your leaders.
Missing Awards
If any of your section leaders who believe that a service award has been missed, please let Alan know and he’ll check the records and apply for a replacement if necessary. It does take time for replacements to come through
Recognition of Volunteers
For any leader who you believe is worthy of special recognition, ie Chef Scouts Commendation and beyond, please let Alan know and we can process. It goes without saying that you should not advise the potential recipient as the process can take along time and is not guaranteed.
