We have received the following message from Malcolm Moor, DCC Lincolnshire Scouts:

I met a number of your Groups at Poacher where I was involved with safeguarding. I had some news on the last day about my next humanitarian aid trip.

I have done 6 trips to Ukraine delivering medicine, sanitary items, medical supplies, food and clothes. I return with Ukraine refugees… 33 to date to all parts of the country.

A Cambridge scout group had agreed to lend me a minibus, and also a driver. Unfortunately it has developed major mechanical defects and is now not available.

I have 15 passengers including a family of 6 with a 1 year old booked to come on this trip. I also have about 25 more desperate to come. Feel free to have a look at my personal facebook page malcolm Moore Lincoln for details.

I will have to cancel this journey if I am unable to source a vehicle.

If you know any groups who might be able to loan their minibus for Monday 8th to Thursday 11thAugust, or for another future date, can you please ask them to get in touch. I have scout drivers with D1 licences booked to do this and future trips.

Your support would be appreciated, especially if you could share this email with your DCs and Groups.

If you can support please contact Malcolm on malcolm.moore@lincolnshirescouts.org.uk, 07402 504818, or 01522 410635.
