“The BBC has recently reported that ambulances were called out to over a thousand incidents at trampoline parks in England in 2017. We’ve seen an increase in incidents happening within Scouting too, so we’ve put these safety tips together:
- take a look at this guidance on trampolining
- make sure the park you visit is registered with the International Association of Trampoline Parks
- get parents’ consent and make sure they sign any paperwork provided by the centre
- ensure enough adults are present to meet your section ratios and add some additional supervision for your group”
Please take this information into consideration if you are planning on visiting a trampoline park with your Section.
