After two eventful years, your views matter more than ever. They’ll make a real difference to the way we support you. They’ll help shape what we deliver and how we can improve our services, tools and resources. The aim, as ever, is to make Scouts as safe, easy and enjoyable as possible and help more young people like you to gain skills for life.
There’s one easy way we can improve what we do, and that’s by listening to you. You know our movement better than anyone. Even if you’ve left in the past 12 months, we’re still keen to hear your views on the movement.
This is what makes our annual Scout Experience Survey so important. It’s your key moment in the year to have your say.
Get involved in the annual Scout Experience Survey to help us understand and improve support for all volunteers and young people.
Feedback from previous surveys has been used to improve support for volunteers and young people, and develop new digital services. It’s also helped us improve programme materials and training resources.
What you tell us helps us to make better decisions about how we use our time and money, making sure we deliver the best value for you, our members. Your responses also help us show the positive impact Scouts has on young people and wider society.
The world – and the needs of volunteers and young people – are changing, and we need to change with them. That’s why it’s particularly important we hear from you. I know many of you are still getting back into a regular routine after the pandemic. Some of you have settled into new and different ways of doing things, with a mix on face to face and online Scouting. Some of you may have even decided to take a step back. However you’re getting on, we’d like to hear from you.
Please take part
Please share your thoughts by Friday 6 May 2022 so we can all benefit from your experiences.
The survey will take between 15 and 30 minutes, so we recommend using a larger device (such as a laptop, PC, or tablet) rather than a phone.
As a thank you, everyone taking part will be entered into a draw to win £500 to spend at Scout Store, and if your District gets enough responses then it could win £1,000!
The survey closes on Friday 6 May 2022.
